Elspeth Sugrue, who has been working at Onerahi Physiotherapy since 2009, took over the ownership in November 2016 from Physiotherapist Ricky Brijs-Blaak and her husband Alfons Brijs, who established the practice in 2009.
Trained at Auckland University of Technology and qualified in 2005.
Elspeth has worked in Onehunga and Khyber Pass Regions in Auckland and was physiotherapist for sport teams.
She treats all musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and manual therapy. She loves biomechanics and getting to the source of the problem. She has a hands on approach and is trained in dry-needling of trigger points. Elspeth loves social sports, being part of the community and her hometown Whangarei, the best place to raise her family.
She works on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (morning) and Friday.
She traveled with the Auckland Central U18 netball team for tournaments.
